Albrecht Kusserow

Albrecht Kusserow (born October 23, 1909 in Königsberg , † April 18, 1991 in Ahrensburg ) was a German district administrator.

Life

Albrecht Kusserow made at the State Wilhelm Gymnasium in Königsberg in 1928 the High School and studied in Königsberg , Freiburg and Munich law . He joined the NSDAP on December 1, 1929 and the SS in January 1930 . Here he was last SS-Hauptsturmführer .

On December 21, 1931 appointed as a trainee lawyer at the Koenigsberg Higher Regional Court, Kusserow switched to administration and on September 15, 1933 became trainee lawyer at the Koenigsberg government . He joined the NSDAP on December 1, 1929 (membership number 165.039) and in January 1930 the SS (membership number 1.993). Here he was last SS-Hauptsturmführer . On March 26, 1936, he was transferred to the Hameln District Office as a government assessor, and on April 1, 1937, the transfer to the Higher Presidium of Münster was made . On June 23, 1938, as a councilor, he switched to temporary employment with the Führer’s deputy . From August 1939 to January 1941 Kusserow did military service and in April 1941 became a senior government councilor. On January 26, 1943, initially as a substitute, he was later entrusted with the provisional administration of the Minden district office . At the same time he was head of the SD branch in Minden . On August 1, 1943, he was drafted into the Wehrmacht. At the urging of the NSDAP Gauleitung, the definitive appointment as district administrator of the Minden district was initially postponed and later canceled. Kusserow became an American prisoner of war and was interned until February 1948. He then worked in the private sector before becoming a representative of the interests of the compensation fund in the districts of Bielefeld and Halle on January 16, 1953. In 1955 he was employed by the Detmold district government , where he became a member of the government on May 20, 1958, and government director on July 1, 1970. On October 31, 1974, Kusserow went into retirement.
