Albrecht Müller (rower)
Albrecht Müller (born November 4, 1939 in Oldenburg (Oldb) ; † May 24, 2018 ) was a German rower .
In 1962, Müller and Jochen Berendes took second place in a double scull in a Wanne-Eickel / Düsseldorf rowing community at the German Championships behind Josef Steffes-Mies and Jost Krause-Wichmann . In 1963 Müller started with Manfred Misselhorn in the double sculls of the Germania Düsseldorf rowing club in 1904 and, as in the previous year, achieved second place at the German championships behind Steffes-Mies and Krause-Wichmann.
In 1964 Misselhorn and Müller formed a four without a helmsman together with Horst Effertz and Günter Schroers . This crew won the German championship and won the 1964 European Championships in Amsterdam before the Danes and the Italians. The German foursome was also the favorite for the Olympic Regatta in Tokyo . There the Danes won, the German crew reached the finals, but couldn't cope with the wind conditions and took sixth place.
