The Lords of Krenowitz named themselves after their property Krenowitz , which at that time belonged to the Duchy of Troppau . They came from a branch of the Moravian noble family von Füllstein ( z Fulštejna ). In 1340 Albrecht von Krenowitz was named captain von Glatz ( capitaneus terre nostre ) in a document from the Kamenz monastery . In 1341 he belonged to the retinue of the Schweidnitzer Duke Bolko II. And 1346-1353 he owned Schatzlar in the Trautenau area. From 1350 to 1353 he was pledge master of the Glatzer country .

Albrecht's son of the same name sold the Kamenz monastery a privilege over the ducal rights in Groß- and Wenig-Nossen in the Duchy of Münsterberg in 1365 . At the same time he renounced the mentioned areas for himself and his brothers Herbert, Eckerich and Conrad, who belonged to the retinue of the Troppauer Duke Nikolaus II .
