Albuin Forer

Albuin Forer (born May 6, 1912 in Mühlwald , Austria-Hungary , † March 9, 1975 in Mühlen in Taufers ) was a South Tyrolean politician.

biography

Forer worked professionally as a teacher for Latin and ancient Greek at the Vinzentinum in Brixen and at the humanistic grammar school in Bruneck . In 1945 he was acting mayor of Sand in Taufers for a few weeks . Politically, he was involved in the ranks of the South Tyrolean People's Party , which he represented in the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol from 1948 to 1956 and thus also in the South Tyrolean parliament . During his first legislative term, he was a substitute regional councilor in the Erckert I cabinet, a member of the South Tyrolean provincial government from 1950 to 1952, and deputy regional assessor in the regional government of Trentino-South Tyrol for five months in 1952 . In 1956, during his second legislative period, he moved briefly to the state government as a substitute state councilor in the Erckert II cabinet . He also served as SVP state secretary from 1953 to 1954.
