Aleandro Baldi (born April 11, 1959 in Greve in Chianti , Tuscany , as Aleandro Civai ) is an Italian singer.

Career

Discovered by Giancarlo Bigazzi , he made his debut at the Sanremo Festival in 1986 with E la nave va , where he achieved second place in the newcomer category. At the Sanremo Festival in 1989 he landed with E sia così in third place in the "middle" category Emergenti . In 1992 he finally won the festival's newcomer category: he sang the song Non amarmi in a duet with Francesca Alotta . This song was later translated into Spanish and covered with success in a duet by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony . Two years later , Baldi also won the festival in the main category with Passerà .

Baldi is blind from birth .
