Aleksandar Todorovski ( Macedonian : Александар Тодоровски; born February 26, 1984 in Kraljevo , SFR Yugoslavia (now Serbia )) is a Macedonian football player . He usually plays in the position of a right defender , but is also used in central defense or on the left. He has been playing for FK Radnički Niš since 2018
Career
The Macedonian, who was born in today's Serbia , began his career at the then Serbian second division club FK Radnički Belgrade . From there he moved to APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus . At the top club in Cyprus' capital he could not prevail and moved to Digenis Akritas Morphou for free . The club then relegated and Todorovski left him after only one season to move to AEL Limassol within Cyprus . Todorovski could not secure a regular place there either.
In the summer of 2008 Todorovski went back to Serbia, where he was staying with the first division club FK Rad . In three years he was used in 63 league games and was called up for the first time in the Macedonian national team in 2010 . In the spring of 2011, the club got into financial problems and wanted to sell it to FK Red Star Belgrade to make money. Todorovski decided, however, to accept an offer from Polonia Warsaw , where he could move after the end of the season for free. The leadership of Rad Belgrade was not happy about this and suspended Todorovski for the rest of the season.
In Poland Todorovski was able to secure a regular place.
In 2013 he attracted the interest of the Austrian club SK Sturm Graz , which brought him in the summer on a free transfer. There he was in the UEFA Europa League qualification against Breiðablik Kópavogur for the first time in an international club competition. In his fourth league game for Sturm Graz, Todorovski broke his fibula and was out for almost half a year. After that he was able to establish himself again as a regular on the right side of the defense.
For the second half of the 2014/2015 season he moved to the Polish second division club Zagłębie Lubin .
After three and a half years at Zagłebie Lubin , he moved to FK Radnički Niš in summer 2018 .
