Alessandro Bertolazzi

Alessandro Bertolazzi (born February 16, 1958 in Casanova Elvo ) is an Italian make- up artist and Oscar winner .

Career

Bertolazzi's career in the film business began in 1988 when he first worked as a makeup artist for the Italian short film Body & Soul . Further employment in Italian productions followed until he worked for an international production for the first time in 2006, in the film Babel . Films like Gomorrah - Journey into the Realm of Camorra , Illuminati , Eat Pray Love , The Loneliness of the Prime Numbers , James Bond 007: Skyfall and Heart of Steel followed .

For his artistic achievement in the film Suicide Squad , Bertolazzi and his colleagues Giorgio Gregorini and Christopher Nelson received the award at the 2017 Academy Awards in the category of best make-up and best hairstyles .
