Alessandro Paunescu (born April 5, 2003 in Graz ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Paunescu started his career at UFC Fehring . For the 2013/14 season he moved to FC Gratkorn . In March 2014 he switched to the youth of the Grazer AK . For the 2015/16 season he joined the youth team of city rivals SK Sturm Graz , where he was also used in the academy from the 2017/18 season.
During the winter break of the 2019/20 season, he moved to Switzerland for second division club FC Wil . In May 2020 he finally received his eligibility to play for Wil. He then made his debut in the Challenge League in June 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Mërgim Brahimi on matchday 24 of that season against FC Lausanne-Sport in the 84th minute .
