Alessandro Federico Karl-Heinz Riedle (born August 14, 1991 in Lindenberg im Allgäu ) is a German football player . He is the son of the former German national soccer player Karl-Heinz Riedle .

Career

Like his father, Riedle is a center forward . He started his career at Liverpool and then moved to Fulham . His next stop was the Grasshopper Club Zurich . He made his debut in the professional Grasshoppers team on March 11, 2009. He scored his first goal in the game against Neuchâtel Xamax on April 26, 2009 after being substituted on for the second half in the 65th minute of the game.

For the 2009/10 season Riedle moved to VfB Stuttgart , where he signed a two-year contract. After 15 missions and one goal for the second team of the Stuttgart third division , he returned to the Grasshoppers on August 25, 2010. He played the 2011/12 season as a loan player at AC Bellinzona in the Challenge League . After the 2012/13 season he was without a contract due to financial problems at AC Bellinzona.

On August 5, 2013 Riedle signed a two-year contract with the Turkish first division club Akhisar Belediyespor . However, he left the club after just one season.

At the beginning of September 2014 he signed a contract with FC Viktoria Köln . Here he made his debut against FC Schalke 04 II on December 13, 2014. This was the only game he played for Cologne.

At the beginning of February 2015 he moved back to Switzerland to SC Brühl St. Gallen . At the third division he developed into a regular player and scored 4 goals in the first seven games.

National team

At least in May 2009 he was a member of the German U-18 national team .
