Alessandro Zamperini (born August 15, 1982 in Rome , Italy ) is an Italian football player . The defender has played for the Italian club Ravenna Calcio since 2010 .

Career

Zamperini began his career in Serie A with Lazio Rome , but got his first professional contract with city rivals AS Roma . He then moved to the English Premier League for Portsmouth FC , where he played 16 games and scored two goals. The following year he moved back to Serie A for FC Modena , where he could not play any games.

After several positions in the C1 series , including at SSD Acireale Calcio , SS Sambenedettese Calcio and Ternana Calcio , he switched to the C2 series at AS Cisco Roma in 2007 and to AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco in 2008 . In 2009 he moved abroad again and signed with Latvian champions FK Ventspils , for whom he scored a goal in the UEFA Europa League in a draw with Sporting Lisbon .

In 2010 he moved to the Italian club Ravenna Calcio .
