Alex Beaulieu-Marchand (born March 3, 1994 in Québec ) is a Canadian freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Beaulieu-Marchand has been participating in AFP World Tour competitions since 2011. Daei achieved his first podium finishes in January 2011 with three second places on the FreeFlow Tour. The following year he took second place in Big Air at The North Face Park and Pipe Open Serries in Waterville Valley . In the World Cup , he made his debut in Ushuaia at the beginning of the 2012/13 season and finished fourth in slopestyle. At the following World Cup and at the same time US Grand Prix in Copper Mountain , he was third in slopestyle. At the Winter X Games 2013 in Aspen he came 15th in Slopestyle and at the Winter X Games Europe 2013 in Tignes he came fifth in Slopestyle. In February 2013 he took second place in slopestyle at both Aspen / Snowmass Freeskiing Open. At the 2013 World Championships in Voss , he came 52nd in Slopestyle. At the end of the season he reached fourth place in the Slopestyle World Cup.

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, Beaulieu-Marchand was second in slopestyle at the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge . At the Winter X Games 2014 in Aspen he finished 16th in slopestyle and fifth in Big Air. At the season highlight, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he came 12th in slopestyle. The following year he finished eighth in slopestyle at the 2015 Winter X Games . After finishing third in slopestyle at the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge , he won the bronze medal in slopestyle at the Winter X Games 2017 in Aspen . In February 2017, he took third place in the Slopestyle World Cup in Québec . At the 2017 World Championships in Sierra Nevada , he finished 11th in Slopestyle.

The following year, Beaulieu-Marchand won the bronze medal in slopestyle at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and came fifth in slopestyle at the Winter X-Games . At the 2019 World Championships in Park City , he won the bronze medal in Big Air.
