Alex Müller
Alex Müller (born 1969 in Düren ) is a German visual artist who lives and works in Berlin and the Uckermark .
Life
Alex Müller grew up in Düren. From 1997 to 2004 she studied at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig with Mara Mattuschka , John Armleder and Raimund Kummer .
In her work she uses different materials such as ink , oil pastels , colored pencil , blue poppy , red wine and espresso , which they applied to various image carrier. Her starting point is painting, which she visualizes in paintings, sculptures, installations, poetry and performances.
From 2007 to 2010, together with Shannon Bool , she curated the Samsa exhibition space in Berlin, where numerous artists exhibited, such as B. Robert Elfgen, Daniel Laufer, Lutz Braun, Dani Gal , Steff Heidhues, Kalin Lindena , Sebastian Dacey, Claudia Wieser and Simone Gilges .
