Alex Peil

Alex Peil (* 1992 in Tyumen , Russian Federation ) is a German actor .

Life

Alex Peil, born in Western Siberia , has lived in Germany since he was six.

Peil attended the film acting school in Berlin from 2011 to 2014 . In 2014 he received the seal award, a sponsorship award for young actors, from the Association of German-Speaking Private Drama Schools. He then completed an acting degree at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater from 2015 to 2019 , which he finished in spring 2019.

During his studies, he initially worked in several productions on the studio stage of the Berlin Film Acting School. In 2014 he performed at the Habbema Theater in Berlin . In summer 2015 he appeared as Valère in Tartuffe (director: Darijan Mirhajlovic) in the Monbijou Theater in the ensemble of the Hexenkessel-Hoftheater in Berlin. In the 2017/18 season he played at the Hamburg Thalia Theater in the production Die Rote Zora (director: Thomas Birkmeir ).

Alex Peil has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schlosstheater Celle since the 2019/20 season . There he made his debut as a teenage lover Orlando in As You Like It in September 2019 . In November / December 2019 he will be on stage at the Schlosstheater Celle in a theater version of Fatih Akin's film Out of Nowhere .

Peil also worked in several film and television productions during his training. In episode 619 of the hospital series In All Friendship (2013) he had an episode role at the side of David Schütter, directed by Peter Wekwerth . In 2015 he stood in front of the camera for two episodes of the children's series Schloss Einstein , which were broadcast in March 2016. In the crime scene in Kiel : Borowski and the house of the spirits (first broadcast: September 2018) he embodied, at the side of Axel Milberg , the event technician Chris, the friend of the main character Sinja ( Mercedes Müller ).

In 2017 he also played in the music video for the song Sommer '89 (He cut holes in the fence) by the German indie rock band Kettcar .

Alex Peil lives in Hamburg.
