Alexander Haugg

Alexander Christopher Haugg (born August 31, 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German actor who became known through the ARD television series Gegen den Wind .

Haugg completed an acting training with Margot Höpfner in his native Hamburg . After graduating, he played at the Badische Kammerspiele and at the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe .

This was followed by engagements in Paderborn at the Westfälische Kammerspiele , in Lübeck at the Stadttheater and in Hamburg at the Altonaer Theater and at the Winterhuder Fährhaus .

Alexander Haugg has lived in Berlin since 2003 and was part of the Neukölln theater ensemble in the Neukölln hall . Since 2010 he has been a permanent member of the Berlin Volkstheater Varianta in Spandau . There he also belongs to the ensemble of the in-house cabaret Brett'l. The program “Hard but unfair - On the imbalance of the nation” has been running since 2011. The current program is called "Comical Tragedies - Tragic Comedies"

He was also seen in some series, such as Good Times, Bad Times and Cheerful to Fatal: Murder in the North . In Gegen den Wind he played the role of Knut for two years from 1995 to 1996 in the main cast.

In July 2014 he starred in the new Rosa von Praunheim film "Hardness"
