Alexander Hysén (born May 12, 1987 ) is a Swedish football player . The goalkeeper is the son of the former Swedish national player Glenn Hysén , his older brother Tobias is also a professional footballer.

Career

Hysén started playing football at Torslanda IK . The goalkeeper later switched to the youth team at BK Häcken , where he was promoted to the professional squad in 2005 as a substitute for Christoffer Källqvist . For the club he made his debut in the 2006 season in the Allsvenskan and came to two first division games. At the end of the season, however, he was relegated to the Superettan with the club . In the middle of the following second division season he was able to fight for the regular place in the gate, but just missed the direct return to the Swedish elite league as fourth in the table. At the end of the season, Hysén made his debut in the Swedish U21 team when he was substituted on for the regular goalkeeper Johan Dahlin in the half-time break in the 3-0 defeat against the Turkish U21 national team .

In the second division season in 2008 Hysén had to cede his place between the posts to Källqvist, who was used in all 30 games of the season and helped the club to rise again. Then he decided to change clubs and went to GIF Sundsvall . There he signed a two-year contract. In the second division, however, he could not displace goalkeeper Fredrik Sundfors and had to take a seat on the bench, only after being sent off, he came to a brief assignment in the second division season 2009 . Therefore, the club decided to loan him to the third division side Östersunds FK shortly before the start of the following season . With the team he occupied a relegation place at the end of the season in Division 1 . As a result he was without a club.
