Alexander J. Herrmann (born December 20, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Born in the Berlin-Friedrichshain hospital, Alexander J. Herrmann grew up first in Marzahn and later in the then Hellersdorf district. After graduating from high school in 1995 at the 1st grammar school in Berlin-Hellersdorf, Alexander J. Herrmann did his basic military service before starting to study law at the Free University of Berlin in 1996 . After completing his studies, he completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Justice from 2002 ; Since 2004 he has been working as an independent lawyer in the Herrmann and Herrmann law firm .

Herrmann is a member of the Berlin Bar Association, the Berlin Bar Association, the CDU / CSU (MIT) medium-sized and business association, the Helfende Hand für den Mittelstand eV, ADAC e. V., the VMEG e. V., the Unionhilfswerk , the soccer club Rot-Weiss '90 Hellersdorf eV, the Hellehund eV, the presidium of the VDGN e. Alexander J. Herrmann joined the CDU in 2008 in Marzahn-Hellersdorf . Since 2009 he has been the district chairman of the Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsvereinigung (MIT) of the CDU Wuhletal. In addition, between 2009 and 2011 Herrmann was a member of the state board of the Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsvereinigung (MIT) of the CDU Berlin. From 2009 to February 2013 he was also a board member of the CDU local association in Biesdorf . Since February 2013 Herrmann has been chairman of the CDU local association Kaulsdorf-Nord. Since March 2017, he has also been Deputy District Chairman of the CDU Wuhletal.

From June 2011, his party sent him to the District Assembly (BVV) Marzahn-Hellersdorf as a Citizens ' Deputy , before becoming a District Assembly there in October 2011. Just a month later, he resigned his mandate in order to replace the previous MP Christian Gräff in the Berlin House of Representatives on November 4, 2011 . He was spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for animal welfare. In the House of Representatives, Herrmann was a member of the Budget Committee and the Asset Management and Budget Control subcommittees. In addition, Herrmann was a member of the 2nd State Opera Investigative Committee. In 2016 he left the House of Representatives.

Since the constitution of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf District Assembly on October 27, 2016, Alexander J. Herrmann has been a District Assembly member of the CDU parliamentary group. On November 10, 2016, he was unanimously elected group chairman by the members of the group .
