Alexander Mbuka-Nzundu (* 1918 in Leverville-Soa , Democratic Republic of the Congo , † October 14, 1985 in Kikwit , Bandundu Province ) was Bishop of Kikwit .

Life

Alexander Mbuka-Nzundu received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Kikwit on August 11, 1948 .

On June 24, 1961, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Cataquas and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Kikwit. The Bishop of Kikwit, André Lefèbvre SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on October 29 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Léopoldville , Joseph-Albert Malula , and the bishop of Popokabaka , Pierre Bouckaert SJ.

Paul VI appointed him on November 29, 1967 . to the Bishop of Kikwit.

Alexander Mbuka-Nzundu participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
