Alexander Pawkowicz

Alexander Pawkowicz (born June 1, 1975 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Since 2015 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

education and profession

Alexander Pawkowicz was born as the son of the politician Rainer Pawkowicz . After graduating from high school in 1993 at BGRG 8 Albertgasse in Vienna- Josefstadt , he completed his basic military service as a one-year volunteer . He then began studying law at the University of Vienna . In 2000 he passed the qualification test as a real estate trustee. From 2001 he studied real estate management at the FHWien , graduating in 2005 as a Magister (FH). From 2001 to 2006 he worked as a project manager in real estate development, then until 2015 as a senior corporate employee and managing director of various real estate companies. He has been an independent real estate trustee since 2016.

Pawkowicz is a member of the Aldania Vienna fraternity .

politics

From 1993 to 2003 he was a board member of the Ring Freiheitlicher Jugend in Vienna. From 1996 he was a district councilor of the district representation in Vienna- Meidling , from 2010 to November 2015 he acted there as deputy district mayor. On November 24, 2015, in the 20th electoral term , he was sworn in as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council , where he acts as Deputy Chairman of the City Council Committee for Housing, Housing and Urban Renewal.

In the state and municipal council elections in Vienna 2020 , he is running for 17th place on the FPÖ state list.
