Alexander Privitera

Alexander Privitera (born February 23, 1965 in Rome , Italy ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Alexander Privitera made his Abitur at the German School in Rome and completed a study of political science at the University La Sapienza . He then worked for the Italian radio and television broadcaster Radiotelevisione Italiana and for the news broadcaster n-tv . He was also the presenter of the infotainment program "Giorno per Giorno" in the Italian capital .

From 1991 to 1992 Alexander Privitera did a traineeship at the German TV News Agency in Bonn . He then worked as a Europe correspondent in Brussels for three years. From 1996 he was political correspondent for ProSiebenSat.1 Media in Bonn. Later he worked in the headquarters in Munich . From August 1998 to March 2004 he was a correspondent in the USA.

From 2004 to 2009, Alexander Privitera was anchorman of the news broadcasts on N24 . In June 2009 he returned to the US capital Washington DC as a special correspondent for the German news broadcaster.
