Alexander Röder (born October 4, 1960 in Hamburg ) is a German Evangelical Lutheran clergyman in Hamburg.

After completing school at the Oberalster grammar school in Hamburg, Röder studied Protestant theology in Hamburg. He completed his vicariate at St. Johannis (Eppendorf) . As a pastor at the main church St. Jacobi he was responsible for the art treasures of the main churches and head of the church art service in northern Elbe . Since 2004 he has been a church councilor in the department for theology and journalism in the North Elbe Church Office in Kiel and at the same time coordinator of all North Elbe fundraising projects.

On June 8, 2005 he was elected chief pastor of the main church St. Michaelis in Hamburg. Since then he has headed the funeral services for Loki Schmidt , Heidi Kabel , Siegfried Lenz , Helmut Schmidt and Jan Fedder , among others .

He can be heard regularly in church programs such as Church People Today on the NDR and is present in the print media as a church representative. As the main pastor, he represents Michel in public, for example in the restoration campaign of the church in cooperation with the Hamburger Sparkasse .
