Alexander Sergeyevich Lazarev

Alexander Sergejewitsch Lasarew ( Russian Александр Сергеевич Лазарев ; born January 3, 1938 in Leningrad , RSFSR , USSR ; † May 2, 2011 in Abramzewo , Moscow Oblast , Russia ) was a Soviet or Russian actor .

Life and accomplishments

Lasarew was the son of the artist Sergej Nikolajewitsch Lasarew (1899–1984) and his wife Olympiada Kuzminichna Lasarewa, nee. Tarasowa (1907-1996). As a result of the Leningrad blockade , the family fled and settled in Orenburg , Kazakhstan , where Alexander's younger brother, the actor Yuri Lazarev, was born.

Lasarew attended drama school until 1959 and then played at the Mayakovsky Theater , to which he remained connected until the end of his life. Lasarev's theater career included many well-known plays such as Hamlet , Medea , The Auditor and Venceremos! .

Alexander Lasarew made his film debut in 1961 in Вольный ветер , but only gained greater fame in 1968 with Again About Love (Russian: Еще раз про любовь ). He repeatedly played historical and literary roles, including twice Peter I of Russia , the author Vladimir Mayakovsky and the robber captain from Das Wirtshaus im Spessart in Tales of the Night . His filmography includes over 100 films and television series .

Lazarev had been a member of the CPSU since 1973 .

Private

Lazarev was married to the actress Svetlana Vladimirovna Nemoljewa, the daughter of the cinema director Vladimir Viktorovich Nemoljew and the sound engineer Valentina Lvovna Nemoljewa, née. Ladygina. Their marriage comes from the son Alexander Alexandrovich Lasarew, who is also active as an actor.

Alexander Lazarev died at the age of 73 in his dacha and was buried on May 5, 2011 in the New Kunzewoer Cemetery in Moscow .

Honors

Lazarev received various awards such as: B. 1970 the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR and 1977 the State Prize of the USSR for his role in the play Venceremos! and in the same year the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR . He was also the holder of the Alexander Nevsky Order .

Since 1962 Lazarev has been a member of the Association of Theater Makers and since 1975 of the Association of Filmmakers . In 2002 he was accepted as a member of the Russian Film Academy .
