Alyaksandr Trashchyla
Alyaksandr Traschtschyla ( Belarusian Аляксандр Трашчыла ., English transcription Aliaksandr Trashchyla, also Russian Александр Трощило - Alexandr Troschtschilo - Aleksandr Troshchilo * 16th January 1960 ) is a former Belarusian sprinter , which refers to the 400-meter dash had specialized and for Soviet Union starting as a relay runner was successful.
At the European Championships in Athens in 1982 , the Soviet 4 x 400 meter relay won the bronze medal behind the teams of the Federal Republic of Germany and Great Britain in the line-up Trashchyla, Pawel Roschtschin , Pavel Konovalov , Viktor Markin . Trashchyla also started in Athens in the 400-meter run and finished fifth.
He crowned his career a year later by winning the relay title at the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki . The Soviet team in the line-up Sergei Lowatschow , Trashchyla, Nikolai Tschernezki , Markin prevailed this time against the German and British relay.
Trashchyla was denied participation in the 1984 Olympic Games because of the Soviet boycott.
In 2012 he became the head coach of the Belarusian national athletics team .
