Alexander Waske Tennis University

The Alexander Waske Tennis University is a tennis academy that was founded in 2010 by the former German Davis Cup players Alexander Waske and Rainer Schüttler . Until June 1, 2017, the training facility was operated under the Schüttler Waske Tennis University . The tennis academy is located on the grounds of the Hessian Tennis Association in Offenbach am Main .

The current player list includes the former top 10 player Andrea Petković , the doubles specialist and Grand Slam winner Philipp Petzschner, as well as the best Indian tennis player Prajnesh Gunneswaran . In addition, the Indian N. Sriram Balaji , the American Michael Mmoh and the German Jule Niemeier are part of the tennis university's current squad. In the past, top players Angelique Kerber , Mona Barthel and the then young talent Cedrik-Marcel Stebe trained at the tennis academy, which was also used by top players such as the Serb Janko Tipsarević to prepare for tournaments.

The players are currently being looked after by the coaching team around head coach Bastian Suwanprateep and Björn Simon and head athletic coach Daniel Beck. Benjamin Ebrahimzadeh worked as head coach at the tennis university until he was appointed full-time coach for Angelique Kerber .
