Alexandra Hulley (born July 24, 1997 in Wahroonga ) is an Australian hammer thrower .
Athletic career
Alexandra Hulley gained her first international experience at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk , where she finished ninth in the final with a width of 65.35 m. The following year she took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing and won the silver medal with 68.35 m. She also won the silver medal at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with a throw on 63.47 m. In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in her native Gold Coast for the first time , where she won the silver medal behind New Zealander Julia Ratcliffe with a throw at 68.20 m .
In 2018 and 2019, Hulley was the Australian hammer throw champion. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a degree in occupational therapy .
