Alexandre Mabboux (born September 19, 1991 in Ambilly ) is a former French ski jumper .

Career

Mabboux was used in the Continental Cup for the first time on December 1, 2007 in Pragelato , but retired as 52nd in the first round. He achieved his best results so far in the Continental Cup as 14th in summer jumping on July 30, 2010 in Courchevel and on July 8, 2012 in Kranj . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec he was nominated for the team competition and the individual competition on the large hill. He reached eighth place with the French team, and in individual jumping he came 42nd. At the Junior World Championships 2007 he jumped 7th place with the team.

At the French Ski Jumping Championships in Chaux-Neuve in 2009 , Mabboux won the gold medal in the team competition and was fifth in the individual competition. At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , he was eliminated as 50th in qualification on the normal hill. In the qualification on the large hill, he was also 48th and failed to qualify for the final. At the Junior World Championships in 2011 in Otepää he reached ninth place with the team in the team competition and tenth place in the individual competition.

On December 9, 2011, he qualified in Harrachov, Czech Republic, for the first time in his career for a World Cup competition and, as 31st, missed the points by just one place. On August 15, 2012 he was able to score his first points in the Summer Grand Prix in Courchevel as 19th .
