Alexandru Ene (born September 19, 1928 in Brăila , Brăila County , † May 22, 2011 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian football player . To avoid confusion with his surname cousin Gheorghe Ene avoid, he was appointed as the Romanian Sports Press Ene I performed.

Career

Ene began his football career in 1941 with Olimpia Bucharest . In 1947 he moved to Metalochimic Bucharest , which was renamed Metalul Bucharest in 1949 . At the age of 19, Ene made his debut on August 22, 1948 in Divizia A in the loss to CFR Timișoara . In 1951 he moved to Dinamo Bucharest , for which he was active until the end of his career in 1960, with the exception of the preliminary round of the 1953 season in which Ene played for Dinamo Oraşul Stalin . During this time he won a Romanian championship, was once a cup winner and was the top scorer of Divizia A. Ene came to a total of 179 championship games in which he scored 105 goals in the 1954 season. He also played 4 games for Dinamo in the European Cup in the 1956/57 season and scored one goal.

After his active career, he worked primarily in his profession as an economist and was Vice President of Dinamo Bucharest from 1971 to 1973. In 2008 Enes' health deteriorated and thanks to financial support from Nicolae Badea , President of Dinamo Bucharest, an amputation of his left leg could be surgically prevented. Ene died in May 2011 at the age of 82.

Ene played a total of 11 games for the Romanian national soccer team and scored 5 goals. He made his debut on June 28, 1953 against Bulgaria .
