Alexei Alexandrowitsch Kossourow ( Russian Алексей Александрович Косоуров ; born July 29, 1979 in Penza , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Disel Pensa in the Wysschaja Hockey League since July 2015 .
Career
Alexei Kossourow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Disel Penza , for whose professional team he made his professional ice hockey debut in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, in the 1999/2000 season . After a single second division, the attacker left the club and played for Molot-Prikamje Perm in the super league over the next three years . The 2002/03 season he started at Chimik Voskressensk in the Wysschaja Liga, but after a goal in three games he joined his league rivals Neftjanik Almetyevsk at the beginning of the season , for whom he ran up during the following three seasons.
For the 2005/06 season Kosourov received a contract with his ex-club Molot-Prikamje Perm from the Super League. For the team from Perm he was able to score eleven goals and provide eight assists in 32 games. Before the end of the main round, he moved to Ak Bars Kazan in the super league and was instant Russian champion in the playoffs with his new team . He contributed to winning the title with three assists in 13 playoff games. Following this success, the Russian received a contract with the capital club HK CSKA Moscow . For this he played for a year and a half before he was committed by Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod during the 2007/08 season . With Nizhny Novgorod he took part in the game operations of the newly founded Continental Hockey League from 2008 to 2010 .
For the 2010/11 season Kossourow received a contract with KHL participant Metallurg Novokuznetsk , where he became team captain. In his first season in this office he scored eight goals in 45 games for Metallurg and gave ten assists. In the following season he was still the captain of his team, but completed only 26 KHL games for Metallurg. From summer 2012, Kossourow was under contract with Amur Khabarovsk , before this was triggered in November of the same year.
Between June 2013 and the end of the 2014/15 season, Kossourow played again at Metallurg Novokuznetsk and held the position of team captain in both game years before moving to Disel Penza in the Wysschaya Hockey League in summer 2015 .
