Alexei Ptschelinzew ( Kazakh Алексей Пчелинцев ; born April 18, 1991 in Alma-Ata ) is a Kazakh ski jumper .

Career

Ptschelinzew made his international debut in December 2004 as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Rovaniemi . However, after he ended up only being beaten in the last places, he was only used in the FIS Cup until December 2005 , but won points there almost consistently. Then he got another starting place in the Continental Cup in December 2005. Although he was able to improve gradually, points were still missing.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2006 in Kranj , he reached 46th place in individual jumping. A year later he was only 69th in Tarvisio . In 2008 in Zakopane he did not make his breakthrough as 44th, which is why he continued to compete primarily in the FIS Cup. B At the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso , Ptschelinzew was disqualified in individual jumping. Even with the team, he did not get past 17th place in the team competition.

It was not until December 2011 that he made it into the points in his home town of Almaty for the first time in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup. Then in January he got the opportunity to compete in the ski jumping world cup for the first time . However, on January 15, 2012, he failed to score points in ski flying on the Kulm. In February he missed the qualification for the individual jumping in Willingen . With the team he reached 11th place in the Team World Cup.

At the Ski Flying World Championships 2012 in Vikersund , he again missed the qualification for individual flying . In the team competition he was tenth with the team. At the Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2012 in the summer he managed to win three points in his only participation in Almaty with rank 28, which in the end made him 79th place overall.

After Ptschelinzew did not start in winter 2012/13, he started at the Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2013 , but remained unsuccessful. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he also missed qualification in all individual competitions.
