Alexei Wladimirowitsch Krutow ( Russian Алексей Владимирович Крутов ; born February 1, 1984 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with HC Red Ice in the National League B. His father Vladimir Krutov was also a professional ice hockey player.
Career
Alexei Krutow began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth of the Zürcher SC . He later played for HK CSKA Moscow , for whose first team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2001/02 season . After a season in the second team of Lokomotive Yaroslavl in the third-rate Pervaya League , the attacker stood for two years for Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the Vysschaya League on the ice. Afterwards he was under contract for one season each with the two first division clubs Metallurg Novokuznetsk and Severstal Tscherepowez .
In summer 2007, the Russian got a contract with the ZSC Lions of the Swiss National League A , with whom he subsequently in the 2007/08 Swiss champion was, and in the 2008/09 season, the inaugural round of the Champions Hockey League won.
After the 2010/11 season , Krutov returned to his home country and signed a contract with Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg from the Continental Hockey League . A year later, in June 2012, he moved within the league to Atlant Mytishchi , but left this club a short time later and was committed by Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk . For Neftechimik he only came to 17 KHL games in the 2012/13 season in which he could not achieve any scorer points.
In May 2013 he moved within the KHL to HK Spartak Moscow , for which he collected 16 scorer points in 42 KHL games until January 2014. He then returned to Switzerland and played four games for Genève-Servette HC before he was signed by HK Sotschi for the 2014/15 season . He returned to Spartak in June 2015.
From April 2016 he was under contract for one season with HC Red Ice in the National League B.
