Alexis Touably Youlo (born November 17, 1959 in Béréblo , Département de Tabou , Ivory Coast ) is Roman Catholic Bishop of Agboville .

Life

Youlo studied in the Minor Seminary Saint Dominique Savio in Gagnoa , from 1978 to 1981 in the seminary “St. Josef von Mukassa ”in Yopougon and then attended Philosophy and Catholic Theology at the Major Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Anyama until 1987 . On August 8, 1987, in Tabou, he received the sacrament of ordination by the Archbishop of Gagnoa, Noël Kokora-Tekry . He completed his training in 1995 with a licentiate in philosophy in Paris and in 2001 with that of canon law in Rome . From 1987 to 1990 he was professor at the Saint Dominique Savio Minor Seminary in Gagnoa and then until 1992 at the Yopougon Seminary .

After the establishment of the diocese of San Pedro in 1989, in which he was incardinated in 1992 , he was initially vicar at the cathedral there and from 1997 to 1999 professor of philosophy at the St. Peter's Minor Seminary in Daloa . From 2001 to 2002 he was the parish administrator of the parish of St. Andreas in Sassansra , and from 2003 to 2006 Vicar General of the diocese.

On October 14, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the first bishop of Agboville.
