Alexis Zywiecki (born April 10, 1984 in Lesquin ) is a former French football player of Polish descent in the position of a defensive player who was often used in central defense .

Career

Started his career in northern France

Born in Lesquin in the Nord department , Zywiecki began his active career as a football player in 1994 in the youth area of the Lille OSC in the nearby city of Lille . He belonged to the youth of the club up to and including 2003. In addition, the Polish-born Zywiecki was included in the same year by the B-team of the club with play in the fourth-class French CFA . In his first season, the 2003/04 season, Zywiecki was used in 20 league games, in which he remained goalless. After he was well on his way to becoming a regular in the B team in the preseason, his number of appearances increased again significantly in the 2004/05 season. With 27 championship appearances, the 1.84 m tall defender finished the season in second place behind the US Boulogne . In the 2005/06 season Zywiecki did not come with the team beyond a place in the middle of the table and was in the entire season in 17 league games in use, in which he scored a goal.

The time at FCO Dijon

After he was awarded a professional contract with a term of two years for the first time in early February 2006, he was included in the professional squad of the team with play in Ligue 1 , the top French division, in the 2006/07 season . Despite belonging to the professional team, he still remained active in the B-team of Lille and was used there in eleven league games that were goalless for him. In June 2006 he injured his ankle in a league game for the B team and was thus out of the regular game for several weeks. On January 26, 2007, the committed defensive racer switched to FCO Dijon in Ligue 2 on loan . There he made his professional debut on April 6, 2007, four days before his 23rd birthday, when he was on the pitch in the 2-1 away defeat of his team against LB Châteauroux for the entire duration of the game. On May 4, 2007 Zywiecki also scored his first professional goal when he scored the 1-0 opening goal in the 61st minute of the 2-1 away win over Le Havre AC . Overall, he came this season (mostly at the end of the season) to six league appearances and one goal for Dijon and reached eighth place in the table with the team.

For the 2007/08 season he was permanently accepted by the Burgundians and given a three-year contract, his contract with Lille, which ran until July 2008, was terminated by mutual agreement. Zywiecki immediately became a regular player in the squad already trained by Serge Romano at the time . During the entire season, the defender made 29 league appearances in which he scored two goals, including in the season opener against AC Ajaccio . At the end of the season, the team, which this season was coached by the later interim coach Frédéric Bompard and then by Faruk Hadžibegić in addition to Serge Romano, was able to stay in class and was involved in the relegation battle until the end of the season. In the 2008/09 season the team performance improved and Zywiecki reached eighth place in the table with the team at the end of the season. In the league, the man with the shirt number 2 was used in 23 games in which he contributed a goal for his team. In the second round of the game against Racing Strasbourg (1: 3) , the defender of Polish descent suffered a broken nose and a displaced cheekbone and was out for six weeks.

In the season 2009/10 the team reached under the new coach Patrice Cateron in the final table with the ninth place, a place in the middle of the table. Zywiecki was in 26 championship games and scored, as in the previous year, one goal. In Ligue 1 2010/11 , the trained central defender was used again in 24 league games of his team before ending his career with third division club Étoile Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël .
