Alfons Galette

Alfons Galette (born September 28, 1914 in Strasbourg , † September 19, 2006 in Plön ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a trainee who fell in 1914 in World War I , Galette studied law in Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main after attending grammar school in Darmstadt . During his studies he became a member of the Hamburg fraternity Alemannia Strasbourg . After legal clerkship and military service , he became a member of the government in the Plön district in 1944 , where he represented District Administrator Meyer from 1943 to 1945 . In 1948 he received his doctorate in Kiel . Between 1948 and 1961 he was a ministerial advisor in the Kiel Ministry of the Interior. From 1961 to 1979 he was district administrator for the Plön district and a member of the Conference of Municipalities and Regions in Europe .
