Alfonso Carrasco Rouco (born October 12, 1956 in Villalba , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Lugo .
Life
Alfonso Carrasco Rouco received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Mondoñedo-Ferrol on April 8, 1985 .
On November 30, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Lugo. The Archbishop of Madrid , Antonio María Cardinal Rouco Varela , donated him episcopal ordination on February 9, 2008 ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, Archbishop Manuel Monteiro de Castro , and the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela , Julián Barrio Barrio .
