Enrique Benavent Vidal (born April 25, 1959 in Cuatretonda , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tortosa .
Life
Enrique Benavent Vidal received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Valencia on November 8, 1982 through Pope John Paul II .
On November 8, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Rotdon and auxiliary bishop in Valencia. He was ordained episcopal on January 8, 2005 by the Archbishop of Valencia, Agustín García-Gasco Vicente ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Santander , José Vilaplana Blasco , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Barcelona , Ricardo María Cardinal Carles Gordó .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Tortosa on May 17, 2013.
