Alfred Adolph (born November 23, 1929 in Trattendorf ) is a former German engineer and general director of the cable works combine Oberspree "Wilhelm Pieck" in the GDR .

Life

The worker's son Alfred Adolph completed after the primary school from 1944 to 1947 trained as electricians in the lignite plant Spreetal and acquired in 1950 at the Workers 'and Peasants' Faculty in Freiberg the High School . From 1950 he studied at the Technical University of Dresden and in 1955 became a qualified engineer . In 1951 Adolph joined the SED . Until 1962 he worked as a project engineer at VEB Lokomotivbau Elektrotechnische Werke (LEW) in Hennigsdorf . In 1962 and 1963 he completed a course at the SED district party school in Kleinmachnow . From 1963 to 1968 Adolph was technical director at LEW Hennigsdorf. From 1968 to 1972 he worked in the foreign trade company transport machinery export / import and in 1972 became director of plan implementation in the combine LEW Hennigsdorf . From 1973 to 1982 Adolph was director of the VEB laminate factory in Bernau , a branch of the LEW. From 1982 to 1990 Adolph was Georg Pohler's successor General Director of VEB Kombinat Kabelwerk Oberspree "Wilhelm Pieck" in Berlin-Oberschöneweide .
