Alfred Arthur (born December 25, 1986 ) is a Ghanaian football player.
Arthur was trained at Ashanti Gold SC , the parent club of Michael Essien and John Mensah . In March 2007 Alfred Arthur made his debut for the Ghanaian national team in Stockholm against Brazil. In the winter of 2008, Alfred Arthur and his compatriot Emmanuel Clottey moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club Wacker Innsbruck , his first stop in Europe .
Arthur also plays for Ghana's Olympic team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . In 2008 after the relegation of Innsbruck, he moved to Serbia to FK Jagodina . In the summer of 2009 he moved back to Ghana to Ashanti Gold SC and a year later to Berekum Chelsea. He participated with Ghana in the 2011 African Nations Cup .
