Alfred Dürbig

Alfred Dürbig (born June 23, 1861 in Schweinfurt , † March 15, 1930 in Augsburg ) was a German judge.

Life

Dürbig studied at the University of Ludwig-Maximilians- law . In 1881 he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Munich . Karl Dyroff was active with him . He went through the preparatory service and the state bankruptcy 1883-1887 at courts and authorities in Schweinfurt. He worked for public prosecutors in Schweinfurt in the second half of 1887 and then at the Munich I Regional Court . He took up his first judge's posts on October 1, 1889, at the Würzburg District Court and on January 1, 1891, at the Munich District Court . At the Munich Regional Court he became second public prosecutor on January 1, 1895, on May 15, 1897 district judge and on November 1, 1903 first public prosecutor. Appointed District Court Director on October 1, 1906, he was head of the Munich District Court for almost eight years. From May 1, 1914, he was President of the Regional Court of Munich I. A good three weeks after the proclamation of the Munich Soviet Republic , the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice under the Social Democrat Fritz Endres appointed him President of the Augsburg Higher Regional Court on May 1, 1919 . On August 1, 1929, Dürbig retired.
