Alfred Dreier

Alfred Dreier (born January 20, 1940 in Munich ; † February 16, 2011 in Erding ) was a German lawyer and local politician ( CSU ).

Career

Dreier was born in Munich and came to Erding at the age of ten. After studying law, he began his legal career in 1969 as a trainee lawyer at the Erding District Court. From 1986 to the end of 2008 he worked for Fischer's Charity Foundation , initially as acting chairman, then as chairman. From 1991 also as managing director of Fischer's Stiftungs Verwaltungs GmbH . He then worked as a lawyer in an Erdinger law firm.

He took on his first political mandates in 1972 in the local council of Altenerding and in the district council of the district of Erding . After moving to Wartenberg , he became a member of the local market council in 1978, to which he was a member until 2008. On May 8, 1978 he was elected deputy district administrator behind Hans Zehetmair . When Zehetmair was appointed Bavarian Minister of Culture in 1986, Dreier took over the official business from October 1986 to February 1987. Until 2002 he was deputy to the newly elected District Administrator Xaver Bauer .
