Alfred Finz

Alfred Finz (born October 7, 1943 in Vienna ) is a former State Secretary ( ÖVP ) in the Federal Ministry of Finance in the federal governments Schüssel I and Schüssel II .

In addition to his professional activity in the Federal Chancellery from 1963 to 1966 and the Court of Auditors in 1966 studied Finz law at the University of Vienna , where he 1975 Doctor juris doctorate . He held various positions at the Court of Auditors; In 1995 he became head of the presidential section.

His political career began with his appointment as State Secretary in 2000. From June 2002 to June 2005 Finz was also regional party chairman of the ÖVP Vienna.

Alfred Finz had been a member of the National Council for the retired Gertrude Brinek since August 4, 2008 . On October 27, 2008, he resigned from this position.

Finz is an honorary member of the K.Ö.HV Nordgau Wien in the ÖCV , as well as an original member of the Ö.KC Kahlenberg in the MKV .
