Alfred Franck

Alfred Heinrich Bruno Franck (born July 29, 1878 in Lauda-Königshofen , † August 24, 1963 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Franck was born the son of an architect and studied law in Heidelberg after graduating from high school . There he became a member of the black fraternity and later fraternity Vineta Heidelberg in 1897 . After his legal state exams in 1901 and 1905, he became a government assessor in Engen . In 1914 he became a clerk at the Pforzheim District Office , in 1918 at the Offenburg District Office and in 1920 at the Freiburg District Office . After a promotion in 1922 he was senior bailiff and district board member in Schönau . In 1924 he became district administrator in Schopfheim , 1927 in Stockach and 1932 in the district of Konstanz . From 1935 to 1945 he was President of the Badische Landwirtschaftliche Berufsgenossenschaft in Karlsruhe . In 1945 he was interned for a short time and finally retired in 1950 .
