Alfred Heizmann
Alfred J. Heizmann (born January 4, 1949 in Wurmlingen ; † October 30, 2017 in Reichenau-Niederzell ) was a German teacher, dialect poet and carnival speaker.
Life
Religion teacher
Alfred Heizmann initially worked as a postman. He studied religious education in Freiburg im Breisgau via the second educational path and in 1974 came to the Wessenberg School in Konstanz as a Catholic religion teacher . From 1980 he lived on the island of Reichenau . For many years, he was the first chairman of the Employees' Representation (MAV) of religious teachers in the service of the Archdiocese of Freiburg . Heizmann was a long-time lecturer at the Konstanzer Münster and a member of the parish council. On the island of Reichenau he was involved in church projects and as a communion helper in St. Peter and Paul , most recently also in looking after refugees.
Alemannic carnival
Heizmann was considered the most important face of the Konstanz Carnival from the Council (Konstanz TV Carnival ). In his inimitable way he appeared as a storyteller, “Bi-Ba-Butzemann”, caretaker, pirate, village school teacher, prevented tourist and foolish innkeeper in the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival . He was a member of the Niederburg Narrengesellschaft in the Niederburg district of Constance and was active there as a handmade paper speaker from 1980.
Author and dialect poet
From 1989 he wrote satirical contributions for the Süddeutscher Rundfunk and from 1998 for the Südwestrundfunk . He was also a well-known author of poetry, Baden dialect poems and cabaret texts. He was a sought-after speaker and speaker from Baden and Maritime .
Alfred Heizmann was married; he had two children with his wife Sonja.
Philosophy of life
He campaigned for tolerance, charity, equality and peace. He had a sense of humor, character, was an advisor and stood up for other people.
