Alfred "Eipe" Hoffmann (born December 20, 1914 in Berlin ; † after 1956) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper .
Career
Before the Second World War, Hoffmann played for the Zehlendorfer Wasps in Berlin . At the World Championships in 1938 and 1939 he guarded the gate of the national team of the German Reich . After the Second World War he played for SC Riessersee , with which he won the German championship in 1948 and 1950 .
With the German national team he took part in the Winter Olympics in 1952 in the Norwegian capital Oslo and in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo . At the ice hockey world championship in Switzerland in 1953 , the native of Berlin won the silver medal with the team of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was later inducted into the Hall of Fame of German ice hockey.
