Alfred Kercher
Alfred Kercher (born October 28, 1901 in Stuttgart , † May 2, 1973 in Kornwestheim ), was a German politician ( NSDAP / CDU ) and Lord Mayor of Kornwestheim.
Kercher was first administrator of the mayor's office from 1933 to 1945 , then mayor , and he took over the office again from 1954 to 1962 after Friedrich Warthmann held it from 1945 to 1948 and Nathanael Schulz from 1948 to 1954. From 1942 to 1944 he also represented the Tübingen mayor Ernst Weinmann .
In 1963 Kercher was made honorary citizen of the city of Kornwestheim. The Alfred Kercher bath was named after him.
