Alfred Kirchner (born August 28, 1887 in Dingsleben , † after 1933) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Kirchner attended elementary school and from 1905 to 1908 the agricultural school in Würzburg . From 1909 to 1911 he was a member of the 6th Thuringian Infantry Regiment 95. From August 1914 until the end of the war in 1918, Kirchner took part in the First World War, in which he fought on the Western Front as a sergeant in the Reserve Infantry Regiment 110 . During the war he was awarded the Iron Cross II. Class , the Sachsen-Meiningischen Merit Medal and the Wound Badge .

After his return from the war, Kirchner became mayor of Dingsleben. He was also chairman of the district council, chairman of the district chamber of agriculture and the association of rural communities in the district of Hildburghausen, as well as a member of the Thuringian main chamber of agriculture and the Thuringian district council.

From March to November 1933 Kirchner was a member of the Reichstag as a member of the NSDAP for constituency 12 (Thuringia). During his time as a member of parliament he voted, among other things, for the Enabling Act introduced by the Hitler government . Kirchner ran on the election proposal of the NSDAP in the back seat with the number 678 in the election to the German Reichstag on November 12, 1933, but did not move into the National Socialist Reichstag again .

As the owner of a farm, from 1933 Kirchner was also an honorary district farmer leader of the Hildburghausen district farming community within the Reichsnährstand .
