Alfred Schultz

Alfred Schultz (born January 15, 1840 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † November 23, 1904 in Berlin ) was a Prussian administrative officer and lawyer .

Life

Alfred Schultz studied law at the Royal Albertus University of Königsberg i. Pr. , Became Silber-Litthauer in 1857 and passed the first legal examination at the age of 19 . On September 1, 1859 he became the Auskultator appointed, joined in May 1861 as Regierungsrefendar in the administrative service of the Kingdom of Prussia , and 1868 was the October 1864 to March Regierungsassessor .

He was then appointed official governor in Medingen of the Landdrostei Lüneburg and on January 1, 1873, appointed as an unskilled worker in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Public Works in Berlin; there was on April 14, 1875 his appointment to the lecturing council . In April 1878 he was appointed to the Secret Upper Government Council in the now separate Ministry of Public Works . In May 1880 he was promoted to Ministerial Director of the Building Administration. On December 15, 1890, he was appointed to the Real Privy Council and on April 8, 1903, after the division had been split into two separate departments for civil engineering and building construction , as undersecretary of these two departments.

In 1895 he was appointed chairman of the court to rule on conflicts of jurisdiction and thus also appointed to the Prussian State Council. In the same year he was awarded the Royal Crown Order, 1st class .
