Alfred Straßer (politician)

Alfred Straßer , also Alfred Strasser (born March 27, 1887 in Kronach ; † May 11, 1959 in Etting ) was a German civil servant and local politician (NSDAP, Bavarian Party ).

Career

Born as the son of a district judge, Strasser attended high school in Dillingen and studied law in Munich after graduating from high school . During his studies he became a member of the Arminia Munich fraternity in 1906 . In 1911 he took his first legal exam and was then a court associate in Munich until 1914. During World War I he served as a reserve lieutenant in the Royal Bavarian 4th Field Artillery Regiment "König" . In 1919 he became a legal advisor and passed the Great Legal Examination. In 1920 he became a government advisor to the government of Upper Bavaria, then he was district administrator in Marktoberdorf and in 1928 became a first class councilor; In 1931 he became a senior councilor. In 1933 he was transferred to the government of Swabia and Neuburg as head of the main welfare office and from 1935 to 1945 he was district administrator ( district administrator ) of the Upper Bavarian district of Ingolstadt . In 1937 he became a member of the NSDAP , which is why he was removed from office after the war and taken to the Hersbruck internment camp for a year and a half . In 1948 he was employed by the Straubing District Office, in 1949 a member of the government and in 1950 a civil servant for life as well as a senior councilor. In the spring of 1952 he was elected district administrator for the Upper Bavarian district of Ingolstadt . In 1955 he became district administrator and head of the Ingolstadt district office. He stayed in office until 1958.
