Alfred Friedrich Moritz Rudolf Freiherr von Waldenfels (born May 27, 1845 in Selb , † June 1, 1910 in Hof ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Waldenfels was a son of Wilhelm Freiherr von Waldenfels, legally qualified mayor of Hof and manor owner on Gattendorf , and his wife Mathilde, born. from Müller. He attended high school in Hof and from 1864 studied law at the universities of Munich , Leipzig and Würzburg . In Munich he became a member of the Corps Franconia . After the legal university examination, which he passed in Munich in 1868, he was employed as a legal intern in Hof. In 1872 he passed the state examination and received a job as a government advisor to the Chamber of the Interior of the Government of Upper Franconia . In 1876 he became a permanent functionary at the Kemnath District Office , and in July 1878 District Office Assessor in Waldmünchen . In 1886 he was transferred to Stadtamhof . From 1888 he was district administrator in Brückenau . On December 27, 1895, he was awarded the rank and title of Royal Bavarian Government Councilor. Alfred von Waldenfels made great contributions to the development of Bad and Stadt Brückenau. Among other things, he donated an avenue made of white poplars and red beeches that connected the city with the bath. In 1908 he retired, which he spent in Hof.
