The Stadtamhof district office was an administrative district in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria from 1862 to 1929 . In terms of their function and size, the Bavarian district offices were comparable to a district .

history

The district office Stadtamhof was formed as part of the Bavarian administrative reform of 1862 from the district court districts Stadtamhof and Regenstauf . The seat of the district office was in the city of Stadtamhof .

On January 1, 1904, the municipality of Karthaus-Prüll was assigned to the city of Regensburg . On April 1, 1924, the city of Stadtamhof and the communities Reinhausen , Sallern , Schwabelweis , Steinweg , Weichs and Winzer followed . This reduced the population of the Stadtamhof district office by around a third. On October 1, 1929, the Stadtamhof district office was finally dissolved and incorporated into the Regensburg district office.

The community of Wenzenbach was called Schönberg until 1924 . The community Lambertsneukirchen was incorporated into Hackenberg on October 1, 1926.
