Alfred Cuno Paridam Freiherr von dem Knesebeck-Karwe (born August 29, 1816 in Berlin ; † December 14, 1883 there ) was a landowner and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Alfred von dem Knesebeck attended the Gray Monastery high school in Berlin . He was 1834-1844 Prussian officer with the Royal Garde du Corps and 1845-1859 leader of a militia - squadron and landlords on Karwe and Tylsen . As a Knight of St. John he worked as a medic in the war missions in Schleswig in 1864 and in Bohemia in 1866 .

From 1859 to 1862 and from 1866 to 1868 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and in 1867 of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Potsdam 3 ( Ruppin , Templin ). In the Reichstag he joined the faction of the Free Conservative Association. On March 10, 1870 he received a Prussian name and coat of arms association with those of the expired barons of Milendonck as barons of the Knesebeck-Milendonck by the highest cabinet order .

family

His parents were Field Marshal Karl Friedrich von dem Knesebeck (1768–1848) and his wife Adolphine von Klitzing (1772–1844). He himself married Franziska Sophie von Bojanowski in Dresden on September 28, 1843 (* October 5, 1822 - † October 14, 1910). The couple had the following children:
