Algimantas Juocevičius

Algimantas Juocevičius (born August 14, 1944 in Vilnius , † January 8, 2015 ibid) was a Lithuanian municipal official, politician and Vice Minister of the Interior.

Life

In 1968 Juocevičius completed his degree in civil engineering at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in Kaunas and worked as an engineer at Elektros skaitiklių gamykla in Vilnius, Soviet Lithuania . He was head of the design office there. From 1997 to 2007 Juocevičius was administrator of the municipality and deputy administrative director of Vilnius Municipality , from 2007 deputy director of VšĮ "Vilniaus universiteto Vaikų ligoninė ", from 2011 to 2013 member of the Vilnius City Council ( Tvarka ir teisingumas ). From 2013 to July 2014 he was Deputy Minister of the Interior of Lithuania under Dailis Alfonsas Barakauskas in the Butkevičius cabinet . He worked as an advisor to the general manager at “ Regitra ”.
